All submission deadlines are end-of-day in the Anywhere on Earth (AoE) time zone.
We invite researchers and practitioners to submit original, unpublished research papers addressing contemporary challenges in web technologies, responsible AI, trustworthy AI, and evaluation methodologies.
Fast-track Submission: Following the WWW 2026 main conference decision period, TIME 2026 opened a fast-track submission window starting January 13, 2026. We especially welcome high-quality papers that were not accepted to the WWW 2026 main conference, or similar venues, but are a strong fit for the workshop setting. The fast-track scope is not limited to the example topics listed in the Call for Papers. Submissions aligned with the broader mission of TIME - transformative insights in multi-faceted evaluation, responsible and trustworthy AI, and web-facing evaluation challenges are encouraged.
Submission Requirements: Submissions must adhere to the following guidelines: (1) Format: Papers must use the ACM double-column English template and may range from 4 to 8 pages, with additional pages allowed for references and appendices. (2) Review: Submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process by expert reviewers. (3) Platform: TIME 2026 uses OpenReview for submissions and reviews. (4) Publication: Accepted papers will be included in the WWW 2026 Companion Proceedings, subject to meeting the camera-ready timeline.
In today's digital landscape of privacy breaches, misinformation, and algorithmic bias, this workshop fosters cross-domain collaboration by applying successful techniques across fields. By bridging academia and industry, it aims to translate research into actionable solutions for modern web challenges.
| Theme | Topics |
|---|---|

| Survey Papers | Comprehensive literature reviews on video processing techniques, compression, enhancement, analytics, data-centric video analytics, and ML-driven video understanding. |
| Evaluation-Focused Studies | Ethical and trustworthy AI for healthcare; security and privacy in clinical AI; video content moderation evaluation, including accuracy and ethical implications. |
| Methodology Reviews | Data standards and annotation practices for AI/ML; robust and interpretable LLMs for healthcare; video analysis methods for social media content. |
| Cross-Disciplinary Insights | Smart city applications with AI-driven governance; strategies to combat online extremism, hate speech, and harassment; human-centric video analytics for health, security, and behavioral studies. |
| Emerging Challenges | Misinformation and disinformation during crises; quality, uncertainty, and trust in discourse data; challenges in video quality assessment. |
Formatting Requirements: Submissions must be written in English, in double-column format, and must adhere to the ACM template and format. Word users may use the ACM Word Interim Template. Submission must be as a single PDF file. The recommended setting for LaTeX is \documentclass[sigconf, review]{acmart}.
Double-Blind Review Policy: Paper submissions must conform to the double-blind review policy, meaning that authors should omit their names and affiliations from the paper. All papers will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field. Acceptance will be based on relevance to the workshop, scientific novelty, and technical quality.
AI-Generated Content Disclosure: Authors are required to disclose any use of tools such as ChatGPT or other AI-based systems in the creation of the paper, including text generation, analysis, or other content. If AI tools are used, authors must provide proper attribution and use the tools ethically. AI tools should not be listed as authors; only human contributors should be credited as authors.
OpenReview Profile Completion: Anyone who plans to submit a paper as an author or co-author must create or update their OpenReview profile by the paper submission deadline. Complete profiles are required for assignment and conflict detection. Papers with authors who have not completed their profiles may be desk-rejected.
Exceptions and Accommodations: Deadlines and policies will be strictly enforced. There will be no exceptions or accommodations for late submissions, misconfigured author or co-author accounts on OpenReview, or changes to author lists after the paper submission deadline.
